Charlie is a graduate of Stanford University (B.S., 1988) and UC Hastings College of the Law (J.D., 1996). He is a member of the U.S. Patent Bar Association (1997) and the State Bar of California (1996). Prior to joining the practice, Charlie worked at a Silicon Valley biotech startup doing lab research, in Hong Kong as a public affairs consultant, and in Indonesia as an English teacher. He is the proud father of three girls, and husband to a professional namer, with whom he frequently talks shop. He also enjoys triathlons, reffing soccer games, and playing bass in a local cover band.
